ACTON - Let’s face it - going to the liquor store should be a fun and convenient. Well folks, this one is. There are rows and rows of all your favorites. From the full array of shelves stacked to the hilt, a cooler full of iced old brew, from Willy and the “boys” looking down from the walls, this store is fun to visit. The addition of a drive-thru window and extra parking makes shopping easier too. The owners have taken this small hole-in-the wall liquor store and “joined the big league.” Ron Cummings “the Bootlegger” and his son, Chase, are hands on owners with a big smiles and a big “Howdy-Do!” Check out the large selection of upper and lower end bourbon whiskey, along with a great group of single malt
scotches. A fine selection of new rums from South America and the Caribbean will tempt you, as well. It's a must to see the large selection of vodkas from Poland, Sweden, Russia, France, England and the Good ol' USA. “Don’t forget the gins and scotch whiskeys,” says the Bootlegger. And then there is a great selection of tequila straight from Mexico. You won't believe all the crazy flavored liquors that they are coming out with every day. There is Vanilla Whiskey, Citrus Vodka, Mango Margaritas, Strawberry Cream Tequila plus many more interesting tastes that will blow your taste buds away. And the beer - WOW! - things have changed. Not only does the Bootlegger have your standard favorites but a tremendous collection of import beers - Australian, African, Mexican, Irish, and German. It seems that from San Antonio to Munich, people like to
drink beer and the Bootlegger will help you have a good time picking the one you like. Then there are brandies, liqueurs, cognacs, sherry, vermouth, schnapps, and cordials – imports and domestics, shelves of them with great names and wonderful tastes. We also have a great selection of cigars. This may be “too much fun” but then again you can’t ever have “too much fun.” The décor is fun, too. They have brought in an ever-changing collection of antique liquor memorabilia. Rustic displays give “the store” a visual image that is pleasing to the eye. The antique barback from the Ozarks makes a great wine display. And speaking of wine, we have saved the best for last. The Bootlegger has a mighty fine selection of superb wines. They have everything from a great table wine to the finest Champagnes in the world. So come on down to Acton and say “Hi!” to Ron and Chase, tell us if you have a
special order. If it's available, we'll get it. That's Bootlegger's specialty. Anything you want and something you’ll like better!
